This year's E3 was a little light on Metal Gear featuring at most around 5 minutes of footage and interviews, relatively short compared to Kojima Productions' sitcom-length showings in previous years. In addition, most of this content centered around Metal Gear Solid Rising in which Hideo Kojima has a much more minimal role.
This, however, hasn't stopped a flurry of news from Hideo Kojima himself revealing that the Metal Gear mastermind has been quite busy despite his hands-off involvement in such titles as Rising and Castlevania.
